Fifteen of the 70 people arrested during the Feb. 1 Baker Center sit-in entered a plea of no-contest in acceptance of a plea-deal on Thursday morning in Athens Municipal Court. Parking enforcement saw a general decline in citations issued in 2018, according to the 2018 annual Athens Police Department report, but still issued over 10,000 tickets for expired meters citations.
