A lot of developments in the Student Senate election this week. Carlo DiNero, the sole candidate for president at the moment, was anonymously accused of sexual assault multiple times via Twitter earlier this week. Now, the candidate's running mates are breaking off of the ticket. https://twitter.com/eannlilly/status/1278701692108890113
It’s time to speak up, I am running for student senate with Ian Carter. We were on the UNITY ticket with Carlo DiNero as the presidential candidate, however, the allegations against him reflect a character we refuse to tolerate so we have left the unity ticket (1/4) https://twitter.com/OHIOUSenate/status/1278667636323336193

"We can not stand by idly for this inaction and inappropriate behavior." https://twitter.com/OHIOUSenate/status/1278667636323336193
The Judicial Panel, who administers Student Senate elections, said the only presidential candidate running, Carlo DeNiro, will not be removed from running for that position.
