A fifth Student Senate ticket and BARE’s treasurer candidate were announced Tuesday evening, more than 24 hours after the original four tickets were announced.

The fifth ticket, TIME, currently consists of two members: vice presidential candidate Marquis Maines and treasurer candidate Lorne Owens. Maines is the president of the Epsilon chapter Epsilon Nu Tau, a fraternity focused on entrepreneurship. Owens is the current Senate Appropriations Commission (SAC) commissioner.

There may be more members to TIME, as the rest of the ticket is being verified by the Student Senate Board of Elections.

“It’s not a complete ticket, but they have other members,” Omar Kurdi, Board of Elections co-chair, said in an email. “We are still in the process of verifying eligibility.”

Kurdi also announced that DJ Amireh, a current SAC senator, will be the treasurer candidate for the BARE ticket. Amireh was present on BARE’s Twitter header photo but was not on the ticket previously for undisclosed reasons.
